G. Gheewala Human Resources Consultants is seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. This full-time position is based in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and offers a competitive salary range of 10-15 LPA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom infrastructure, network design, and system maintenance, ensuring seamless communication across engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Telecom Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunication systems critical to Oil & Gas operations. Your duties will include:

• Designing and deploying telecom infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and satellite systems.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in telecom installations.
• Troubleshooting network issues and optimizing performance for reliability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate telecom solutions with SCADA, PLC, and other industrial systems.
• Conducting site surveys and feasibility studies for telecom projects.
• Managing vendor relationships for telecom equipment procurement and maintenance.
• Providing technical support during emergencies and system outages.
• Documenting telecom system configurations, maintenance logs, and operational reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in telecom technologies such as VoIP, RF, IP Networking, and PBX systems.
• Experience with fiber optic cabling, microwave, and satellite communication.
• Knowledge of telecom standards (e.g., IEEE, ITU-T, TIA/EIA).
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (MODBUS, DNP3, Ethernet/IP).

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Certifications in CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent telecom certifications (preferred).

Work Environment

This role is based in Diriyah, Riyadh, and requires on-site presence at Oil & Gas facilities. The position involves occasional travel to remote sites and exposure to industrial environments. Safety training and PPE will be provided.
