Royal Star Manpower Solutions is seeking a skilled Telecom Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in telecom systems, with a strong technical background and the ability to work in the dynamic Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

As a Telecom Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecom systems in compliance with company and industry standards. Your duties will include:

• Install, configure, and maintain telecom equipment, including fiber optics, routers, switches, and wireless systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair telecom network issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on telecom systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure telecom systems meet operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Document installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Assist in testing and commissioning new telecom systems.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and clients as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in telecom systems, fiber optics, networking, and wireless communication.
• Experience: 1-3 years in a Telecom Technician role, preferably in Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction.
• Education: Diploma or Graduation in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of industry safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Certifications in telecom or networking (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
• Experience with SCADA or industrial communication systems.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry telecom requirements.
