Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Testing Supervisor to join our Operations team in Muscat, Oman. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and safety of testing processes within the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising testing operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading a team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily testing operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Oversee a team of testing technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure all testing equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operational.
- Monitor testing procedures to adhere to project specifications and industry regulations.
- Prepare and review test reports, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize testing processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all documentation and records are accurately maintained.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to testing procedures and equipment.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Graduation or Diploma in Engineering, Petroleum Technology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role within the Oil & Gas testing sector.
- Proven track record of managing testing operations and teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of testing procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using testing software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Work Environment
This position is based in Wadi Kabir, Muscat, Oman. The role requires on-site presence and may involve working in challenging environments, including outdoor sites and under varying weather conditions.
