Arvind Manpower Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and 6G certified TIG & ARC Welder for a full-time position within the dynamic Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry in Saudi Arabia. This critical role requires expertise in performing precision welding in the challenging 6G position, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all fabrication and repair work. The ideal candidate will possess an ITI certification, 3-5 years of hands-on experience, and a proven track record in producing robust, high-integrity welds on critical pipeline and structural components. Key Responsibilities & Duties

As a TIG & ARC Welder (6G Certified) at our client site in Riyadh, you will be entrusted with a range of critical tasks that are essential to the success of our oil and gas operations. Your primary duties will include:

• Perform high-quality Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys in all positions, including the complex 6G position (pipe fixed at 45-degree angle).
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding process specifications (WPS) to determine the appropriate welding requirements and techniques.
• Set up welding equipment, including selecting and preparing the correct materials, gases, and electrodes for each specific job.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure they meet design specifications and industry standards, including visual inspection (VT) and dimensional checks.
• Operate tools and equipment such as grinders, cutters, and beveling machines to prepare materials for welding and to finish welded components.
• Maintain a strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe worksite.
• Collaborate closely with fabrication supervisors, quality control inspectors, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality benchmarks are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and report any malfunctions or defects.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this welding job in Riyadh, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

Education & Certification

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Welding Technology or a related field is mandatory.
• Valid 6G certification for both TIG and ARC welding processes is non-negotiable.
• Additional certifications from recognized welding institutions (e.g., ASME, AWS) will be highly regarded.

Experience & Skills

• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a TIG and ARC welder, specifically within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or heavy industrial sector.
• Demonstrable, hands-on experience performing welds in the 6G position on pipework and pressure vessels.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, isometric drawings, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Strong knowledge of different metal properties and the appropriate welding techniques for each (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex).
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks for extended periods, often in confined spaces or at heights.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a unwavering commitment to producing zero-defect work.
