TIG & ARC Welder – 6G (CS) – Oil & Gas Construction

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled TIG & ARC Welder – 6G (CS) to join our Welding & Fabrication team in the Oil & Gas Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in welding, particularly in 6G certified carbon steel (CS) welding, and must hold an ITI certification. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and offers a competitive salary range of 2-4 LPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG and ARC welding on carbon steel (CS) materials, adhering to industry standards.
• Execute 6G pipe welding (horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions) with precision.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with fabrication and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects, implementing corrective measures.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and ARC (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) techniques.
• Certification in 6G pipe welding for carbon steel (CS) materials.
• Ability to weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead).
• Experience in Oil & Gas Construction welding projects.
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
• Knowledge of welding inspection tools and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.

Education & Experience

• ITI certification in Welding or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on welding experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Prior experience working on large-scale fabrication projects.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role requires working in an industrial setting with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noises, and heavy machinery. The candidate must be able to:

• Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Lift and carry welding equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including helmets, gloves, and safety glasses.
