We are seeking a skilled Torqueing Technician to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas sector in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hydraulic torquing and tensioning and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities

As a Torqueing Technician, your primary duties will include:

• Performing hydraulic torquing and tensioning operations on mechanical assemblies, pipelines, and heavy machinery.
• Inspecting and calibrating torque tools to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and torque specifications.
• Collaborating with engineers and supervisors to execute torqueing procedures safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining torqueing equipment, including hydraulic pumps, wrenches, and tensioners.
• Documenting torqueing activities and generating reports for quality assurance.
• Adhering to workplace safety protocols and industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, API standards).
• Troubleshooting issues related to torqueing processes and recommending corrective actions.
• Assisting in rigging and lifting operations as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in hydraulic torquing and tensioning techniques.
• Knowledge of torque tool calibration and maintenance.
• Ability to read technical manuals, torque charts, and engineering diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in the Oil & Gas or related heavy industries.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Education & Experience:

• ITI certification or equivalent technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Torqueing Technician or similar role.
• Certification in hydraulic torqueing operations (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, and ANSI.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and heights.
• Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, dust, etc.).
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs).
