Key Responsibilities

As a Trailer Driver, your primary duties will include:

• Operating heavy trailers safely and efficiently in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE
• Transporting goods between warehouses, ports, and customer locations
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring proper loading and securement of cargo
• Maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
• Adhering to all UAE traffic laws and company safety regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers and logistics coordinators
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and reporting mechanical issues
• Representing the company professionally at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this Trailer Driver position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Valid UAE LLC driving license for heavy trailers
• 3-5 years of professional trailer driving experience
• Clean driving record (no major violations or accidents)
• Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations
• Physical ability to handle loading/unloading when required
• Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed
• Strong time management and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

While not required, the following skills would be considered an advantage:

• Experience with temperature-controlled trailer operations
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
• Basic troubleshooting skills for trailer mechanical issues
• Experience with international border crossings (GCC countries)
• Knowledge of hazardous materials transportation (if applicable)

Working Conditions

This position involves:

• Full-time employment (typically 48-60 hours per week)
• Primarily outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Extended periods of sitting while driving
• Occasional physical labor during loading/unloading
• Potential for overnight trips when required
