We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Coordinator to join our dynamic Transportation Department in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination, logistics management, and efficient fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in vehicle logistics, scheduling, and fleet coordination within the transportation industry.

As a Vehicle Coordinator, you will oversee the daily movement of vehicles, manage dispatch operations, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations. Your expertise in coordination and problem-solving will contribute to optimizing fleet efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate vehicle logistics, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking.
  • Ensure timely deployment of vehicles to meet operational demands.
  • Monitor fleet maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs with service providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, inspections, and compliance documents.
  • Liaise with drivers, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
  • Optimize route planning to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations.
  • Prepare reports on fleet performance, utilization, and maintenance activities.
  • Implement best practices for vehicle safety and environmental sustainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in vehicle coordination, logistics, or fleet management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in transportation management software and GPS tracking systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in vehicle coordination within the transportation industry.
  • Familiarity with UAE transportation laws and regulations is a plus.
