Key Responsibilities
As a Waiter (POS), your primary duties will include:
- Greeting and seating guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Delivering orders promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
- Providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Processing payments and managing cash transactions securely.
- Assisting in inventory management and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Waiter or in a similar role in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order management.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- A Doctorate degree is preferred, though relevant experience is prioritized.
