About the Role

ASMACS, a leading name in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our Catering Department in The Pearl, Doha. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Responsibilities

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and seating guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and relaying them to the kitchen staff.
• Delivering meals and drinks promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Upselling menu items and promoting specials to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Processing payments and handling cash transactions securely.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service operations.
• Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Education: Doctorate or equivalent (relevant certifications in hospitality are a plus).
• Experience: 1-3 years in a waiter/waitress or customer-facing role, preferably in high-end restaurants or hotels.

• Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
