Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Welder (6G SS & CS, TIG and ARC) to join our Welding & Fabrication team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position within the Oil & Gas industry, requiring expertise in 6G stainless steel (SS) and carbon steel (CS) welding using TIG and ARC techniques. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, an ITI certification, and a strong understanding of welding standards in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG and ARC welding on 6G stainless steel (SS) and carbon steel (CS) pipes and structures.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify weld integrity and compliance with industry standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including PPE requirements and hazardous material handling.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to troubleshoot welding issues.
• Maintain detailed records of welding procedures, materials used, and inspection results.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure quality control and project timelines are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in 6G welding (SS & CS) with TIG and ARC techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS).
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods (e.g., X-ray, ultrasonic).
• Familiarity with welding in high-pressure and corrosive environments.

Education & Certifications

• ITI certification in Welding or a related field.
• Additional certifications in TIG and ARC welding are preferred.
• Valid safety training certificates (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.

Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on welding experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record of working on large-scale fabrication projects.
• Experience with pipeline welding and pressure vessel fabrication is highly desirable.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is on-site at our facility in Al Malaz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves:

• Working in extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
• Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged standing.
• Exposure to fumes, loud noises, and hazardous materials.
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
