Job Description: Welder / Fabricator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various metals and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, ARC, and plasma cutters.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to specifications.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to ensure project accuracy.
• Maintain welding machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
• Experience with metal fabrication, cutting, and shaping.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of welding safety standards.
• Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience

• ITI Certification in Welding or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in welding and fabrication.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA or equivalent safety standards.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

The Welder/Fabricator will work in a manufacturing facility with exposure to loud noises, fumes, and high temperatures. The role requires:

• Standing for extended periods.
• Lifting heavy materials (up to 25 kg).
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and goggles.
• Working in confined spaces when necessary.
