Job Responsibilities

As a Welder, you will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding process specifications.
• Performing various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, and Gas welding) on metals, including steel, aluminum, and alloys.
• Inspecting welded joints for accuracy, strength, and quality to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Operating and maintaining welding equipment, torches, and tools safely.
• Collaborating with engineers and construction teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Adhering to workplace safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Repairing or modifying metal structures as required.
• Providing input on material selection and welding techniques for optimal results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, and Gas welding).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in welding.
• Knowledge of metal properties and material compatibility.
• Experience with welding inspection tools and quality control standards.
• Physical endurance and manual dexterity for prolonged welding tasks.

Education & Certification:

• ITI Certification in Welding or a related field.
• Additional certifications in welding techniques and safety (preferred).
• Valid UAE welding license or eligibility to obtain one (if required).

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on welding experience, preferably in the construction sector. Candidates with experience in structural welding, pipelines, or heavy machinery will be given preference.
