Job Responsibilities

As a Welder in our Construction team, you will be responsible for the following:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications for welding projects.
• Performing various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on metal structures.
• Ensuring welds meet industry and company quality standards.
• Inspecting and testing welds for defects using visual checks, pressure tests, or X-rays.
• Operating and maintaining welding equipment, including grinders, torches, and clamps.
• Following safety protocols to minimize risks associated with welding fumes, sparks, and heat.
• Collaborating with fabrication and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhering to project timelines and deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, Stick Welding).
• Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with welding materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication and metalworking tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in welding work.

Education & Experience:

• ITI Certification in Welding or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on welding experience, preferably in Construction.
• Certification in welding inspection (optional but preferred).

Work Environment

This is an on-site position in Madinat Khalifa North, Doha, Qatar. The role involves:

• Working in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, including heat and dust.
• Occasional lifting of heavy materials (up to 25 kg).
• Strict adherence to safety regulations and protective gear requirements.
