Job Overview

Indman Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd is seeking skilled and motivated Welders - Tacking to join our Production team in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time position in the thriving Oil & Gas industry, ideal for candidates with 0-1 year of experience who are eager to grow their welding careers.

As a Tacking Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity of metal components by performing tack welds before final welding. Your precision and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our onshore projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tack welding on metal components to hold them in place for final welding
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or cutting as needed
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed tack welds to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain welding equipment and report any malfunctions
• Follow all health and safety protocols in the work environment
• Collaborate with senior welders and other team members
• Assist in other welding tasks as required by production needs

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Diploma or Graduation in Welding Technology or related field

Experience:

• 0-1 years of experience in tack welding or related welding roles
• Freshers with proper welding certification may apply

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of tack welding techniques
• Familiarity with welding tools and equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Physical stamina to work in challenging environments
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic understanding of workplace safety in industrial settings

Certifications (Preferred):

• Welding certification from recognized institution
• Safety training certifications
