Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Welding Inspector to join our Quality Control team in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards, inspecting welding procedures, and maintaining quality assurance in oil & gas construction projects. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience and a strong understanding of welding inspection protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding inspections to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Review and approve welding procedures, specifications, and qualifications.
  • Monitor welding operations for compliance with QA/QC standards.
  • Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) and visual inspections.
  • Document inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with engineers and contractors to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure all welding activities meet safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform material verification and weld joint inspections.
  • Provide technical guidance to welding personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Diploma or Graduation in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a plus.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Welding Inspector in oil & gas construction.
  • Proficiency in interpreting welding codes (AWS, ASME, API).
  • Hands-on experience with welding equipment and inspection tools.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
