Key Responsibilities
As a Welding Machine Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and operating welding equipment while ensuring high-quality fabrication work. Your duties will include:
- Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.)
- Inspect, maintain, and repair welding machines and equipment
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for fabrication projects
- Ensure compliance with welding safety standards and protocols
- Troubleshoot welding equipment malfunctions
- Monitor welding materials inventory and request supplies when needed
- Collaborate with construction teams on structural welding projects
- Perform quality checks on welded components
- Train junior technicians on proper welding techniques
- Document maintenance procedures and equipment status
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- 3-5 years of professional welding experience
- Expertise in multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of welding machine maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Understanding of metallurgy and material properties
- Familiarity with construction industry standards
- Attention to detail in fabrication work
- Physical stamina for demanding work environments
Education & Certifications:
- Diploma or Graduation in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Certified Welding Technician (CWT) or equivalent certification preferred

Work Environment
