Key Responsibilities

As a Workshop Supervisors - Fabrication, you will:

• Supervise day-to-day fabrication and welding operations to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other departments for workflow alignment.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance workshop efficiency.
• Monitor material usage, inventory, and procurement to avoid project delays.
• Inspect fabricated components for defects and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
• Report progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management periodically.
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure proper functionality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in fabrication supervision, preferably in the Oil & Gas Construction industry.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Familiarity with fabrication machinery (CNC machines, press brakes, shears).
• Understanding of material properties (steel, aluminum, alloys).
• Experience with quality assurance protocols and testing methods (NDT, LPI).

Soft Skills

Work Environment
